Job summary

Scott Petroleum, Inc. is hiring a Propane Route Salesperson to safely and efficiently deliver propane to our customers, adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining the integrity of products in transit.

You will operate delivery trucks, perform routine inspections, complete paperwork, and communicate with the dispatch team to ensure on-time service while providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
• Execute scheduled deliveries of propane products to customers.

• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and address customer inquiries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, reporting issues promptly.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including logs and receipts.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding progress and issues.
• Respond to emergencies such as spills or accidents per safety protocols.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines at all times.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, reporting any issues promptly.6. Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including logs, records, and customer receipts.7. Maintain effective communication with the dispatch team, informing them of delivery progress and any issues that may arise.8. Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as spills or accidents, following established safety protocols.9. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.Qualifications:1. Must be 25 years of age or older.2. Must have Class B CDL.3. Must have hazmat and tanker endorsements.4. Satisfactory completion of D.O.T. physical, drug test, and background check.5.
