Job summary

Main-Care Energy is seeking career-minded propane fuel delivery drivers to serve residential and commercial customers across our New York service area. CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (plus a clean driving record) is required, with at least one year of delivery experience preferred.

Training may be provided. The role emphasizes safe, timely deliveries, strong customer service, and strict adherence to DOT regulations and propane safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a clean driving record are required.
• At least one year of driving experience in fuel or propane delivery preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Fuel Delivery: load, transport, and deliver propane to customers on a set route and schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries; be courteous and answer questions about propane usage.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements for hazardous materials and vehicle operation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Accurately complete delivery tickets and logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct routine visual inspections of propane tanks and report safety concerns.
• Respond to propane leaks or emergencies and communicate with the dispatcher as needed.
