Job summary

Canyon State Propane in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Bobtail Truck Driver to deliver propane safely to local customers and support growth. Responsibilities include on-time deliveries, excellent customer service, and thorough safety checks.

Applicants must have a Class B CDL with HazMat and tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather on a rotating on-call schedule. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• LP-3 Retail Sale of LP Gas license must be obtained within 90 days.
• Able to work outside in adverse weather and on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively.
• HazMat certifications must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to local customers, home every night.
• Provide superior customer service and help establish new propane customer relationships during slow periods.
• Be safety-conscious and proficient at providing high-level customer service while handling routed propane deliveries in a timely manner.
• Be mechanically inclined to safely perform gas safety checks and ensure that company equipment and tank systems are safe and well-maintained.
