Job summary

DCC Propane, LLC in Illinois is seeking a Delivery Driver to deliver, service and install propane products to customers in an assigned territory. You will maintain DOT compliance, complete paperwork, and ensure safety and care of equipment.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and map-reading skills. A valid CDL with endorsements and 21+ years of age are required, with extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Knowledge of Federal and State DOT rules and regulations.
• General mechanical abilities.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read maps and know the geographical area.

Responsibilities

• Operate all assigned vehicles in accordance with company policies and DOT rules for safe operation.
• Handle the delivery schedule with multiple stops per day.
• Resolve or escalate customer inquiries and complaints as needed.
• Maintain care, security and condition of equipment and property.
• Ensure all paperwork is complete and submitted daily.
• Cross-train in service area to respond to propane and/or water needs where offered.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality of information.
• Attend safety meetings and training as required.
• Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
