Job summary

Meritum Energy is seeking an experienced Propane/Refined Fuel Delivery Bobtail Driver in Baytown, TX. You will load, transport and deliver propane and refined fuels to residential and commercial customers using a bobtail truck with a 3,000-5,000 gallon capacity.

You must have a Class A CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements, be able to obtain TWIC, and meet DOT safety standards. The role requires regulatory compliance, attention to logs/records, and a strong commitment to service and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Propane certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to obtain TWIC.
• No more than one moving violation in the last 2 years.
• 3+ years tractor-trailer experience in propane/fuel distribution preferred.
• 1+ years tanker experience within the last 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, transports and delivers propane to residential and commercial locations.
• Complies with city, state and federal regulations.
• Provides high level of service to customers.
• Performs pre/post-trip inspections for hazardous materials.
• Maintains accurate truck records and logs per DOT rules.
• Monitors vehicle maintenance and reports issues to supervisor.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
