Job summary

CBH Cooperative is seeking a reliable Propane CDL Driver/Service professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver propane safely and efficiently and provide propane-related service to customers.

You will operate commercial vehicles to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, perform tank installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with endorsements.
• Experience in propane delivery and service.
• Strong safety discipline and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to lift and handle propane tanks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Perform propane service tasks including tank installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery and service records.
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Assist with loading/unloading propane cylinders and tanks.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions; overtime and weekend work may be required.

• Assist with loading and unloading propane cylinders and tanks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Experience as a propane delivery driver and in propane service operations.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and handling propane tanks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires adherence to strict safety standards. The role may require occasional overtime and weekend work.
