Job summary

Radio One, Inc. is seeking a Promotions Assistant in Indianapolis to support on-site appearances, promotions, and remote events. The role involves setup, execution, and coordination with the Promotions/Marketing Director.

The ideal candidate is 18+, has a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and at least 2 years of driving experience. Flexible hours include weekdays and weekends, with physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and represent various radio stations at on-site appearances and events.
• Assist with setup and execution of station events, remotes, and appearances; maintain equipment.
• Develop and carry out creative ways to increase public awareness of the station.
• Present a positive attitude and act as liaison with listeners during events.
• Upkeep and maintenance of station vehicles and equipment.
• Set up and maintain equipment for live broadcasts and remotes.
• Coordinate with the promotions department and stations during events and appearances.
• Assist and coordinate with Marketing & Promotions Director and other team members.
