Job summary

Cumulus Media | Fresno is seeking a hard-working Part Time Remote Technician to join our radio team. You will travel to events, set up and breakdown remote broadcasts, and represent our stations as a Brand Ambassador.

You’ll monitor audio quality, perform minor repairs, and assist with on-site promos while maintaining a friendly, outgoing demeanor and a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented and responsible; customer/client service skills helpful.
• Ability to multi-task, handle time-sensitive deadlines, and work independently in remote locations.
• Able to have a flexible schedule (including days, nights, weekends, and holidays).
• May require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• May require working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Position Overview

Cumulus Media | Fresno is in search of a hard-working Part Time Remote Technician. If you are looking to get a foot in the door to the radio industry, have an outgoing personality and have a passion for radio, this is a great opportunity for you! You will be going out in the community to interact with listeners and promote our stations.

The Remote Technician travels around the valley in our promotional vehicles and represents our stations at specified events, acting as Brand Ambassadors. This includes set-up and breakdown of remote broadcast equipment and promotional items (pop-up tents and tables, hanging banners) for off-site appearances. They also monitor the broadcast or event audio for quality and repairs/corrects problems as needed during the broadcast or event.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required. Driving is an essential function of this position. Regular travel is required to perform key job duties, including transporting equipment and setting up equipment to support station events and remote broadcasts.

Pay Range

USD $18.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
