Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group seeks a Projects Controls Specialist to join our Client's team in Oakland. The role covers planning, monitoring and controlling all phases of the capital project lifecycle with emphasis on design, cost analysis and procurement.

You will partner with project managers to keep scope, budget and schedule aligned and drive data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business, or accounting and 5+ years of project controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, business, or accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in project controls, design, or construction management.
• Experience in transportation or public agency projects preferred.
• Project management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage budgets for capital projects.
• Monitor cost and schedule performance and forecast variances.
• Manage risk, change control, and earned value progression.
• Coordinate with client and internal project managers across multiple projects.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting in designated systems.
