Job summary

UCLA Film & Television Archive seeks a Part-time Projectionist to operate the Billy Wilder Theater projection booth for film screenings and related events. Responsibilities include handling 35mm and 16mm projection, testing equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed to guarantee high-quality presentations.

The role requires coordination with the Public Programs team, flexibility for evening/weekend hours, and adherence to archival standards while supporting both in-theater and virtual

Qualifications

• Experience projecting 35mm and 16mm films with changeover systems.
• Experience troubleshooting projection equipment and creating DCPs.
• Ability to work as part of a team and establish cooperative relationships.
• Knowledge of virtual film events tech specs and standards.
