Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of survey and/or right-of-way engineering experience.
• Experience performing topographic surveys and survey technician duties.
• Experience processing survey field data and establishing survey alignments and property lines.
• Strong knowledge of INDOT procedures for route surveying and right-of-way engineering.
• Proficiency with ORD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to right-of-way engineering efforts for project development.
• Develop plats, legals, plans, and computations for acquisitions.
• Collaborate with survey and engineering staff for accurate, timely deliverables.
• Conduct topographic surveys and reality capture (laser scanning; UAV).
• Process field data and establish existing alignments, rights-of-way, and property lines.
• Utilize ORD and Civil 3D to support project development.
• Bridge field and office work to ensure deliverable accuracy.
