Job summary

LJA Surveying in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Project Surveyor to supervise field operations, manage technical and drafting staff, conduct deed and map research, and oversee project management. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate survey data into project plans, using total stations, GPS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D to collect and analyze data.

Required licensure and 10+ years in the field; 2+ years after registration; strong communication and client-relations

Qualifications

10 years of progressive experience in the industry.
2+ years of experience after registration.
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supervision of field operations, technical and drafting staff, deed and map research, and project management.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate survey data into project plans.
Use advanced equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, 3D scanners) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to collect and analyze data
Responsible for boundary survey calculations, analysis, and final map checking, abstracting title data, and client relations.
