The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Superintendent to join our Mission Critical team on a data center project in Council Hill, OK. You will lead subcontractors, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with the Project Manager to manage schedule and budget.

You will also develop two-week look-ahead schedules, coordinate subcontractor work, and maintain strong relationships with owners, designers, and engineers while ensuring accurate, timely paperwork and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Superintendent experience required.
• Experience on data center projects highly desired.
• Ability to read/interpret construction documents.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and project controls.
• Proven ability to manage safety culture on site.

The Weitz Company is hiring a Project Superintendent to join our Mission Critical team working on a data center project in Council Hill, OK.

The Project Superintendent plays a critical role in establishing a safety culture on the jobsite and will work closely with the Project Manager to manage schedule, budget, and staff to achieve the best outcome possible. This role will also create/maintain effective client, vendor, supplier, and subcontractor relationships.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy
• Work alongside the Project Manager(s) to manage the project schedule and budget
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules
• Update project schedules utilizing computerized scheduling software
• Assist with the buyout and selection of subcontractors
• Coordinate the work of the subcontractors’ field forces
• Communicate effectively with owners, designers, and engineers
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed, accurate, and timely
• Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures
• Provide opportunities to help the team develop, learn, and grow
• Foster positive relationships on the jobsite

What We're Looking For:

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of Project Superintendent experience required
  • Experience working on data center projects highly desired
• Skills:
  • Ability to read/interpret construction documents
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent project organizational skills
  • Impressive leadership skills with the desire to teach, mentor, and develop a team
  • Business acumen and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Technology:
  • Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
