Superintendent _ Las Vegas

Our client is currently seeking a top-notch general construction superintendent with the experience to oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion. The ideal candidate will assist the Project Executive and Project Manager on construction-management projects. This person will also oversee all field operations, including training, hiring, development, and supervising senior/project superintendents.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING!

1. Serve as timekeeper, approve time cards for payroll, and manage work schedules and time-off requests.
2. Supervise the physical construction of the project in accordance with contract documents, including:
   • Verifying safety compliance across all trades
   • Maintaining and planning reports
   • Managing work-arounds, shutdowns, and tie-ins
   • Resolving jurisdictional disputes
   • Enforcing safety and quality-control policies
   • Coordinating daily trade activities
   • Managing the project schedule
   • Maintaining positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.
3. Collaborate with the team to enhance the overall experience for clients and employees.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO WIN!

1. Minimum 5-10+ years of experience required.
2. Experience in TI/commercial construction across multiple sectors. Responsible for interviewing and selecting site workers.
3. Strong understanding and communication of site safety rules and expectations to new hires, maintaining safety protocols throughout the project.
4. Experience coordinating various tradespeople, professionals, and laborers.
5. In-depth knowledge of the Las Vegas Market.
6. Electrical construction experience is a plus.
