Job summary

Maxwell Construction is seeking Superintendents to oversee and coordinate all site activities in line with project blueprints and schedules. You will lead a team, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and on-time delivery of construction milestones.

Responsibilities include budget collaboration, cost estimation, scheduling, and maintaining daily site logs. OSHA 30 preferred; strong leadership essential to drive efficient, cost-effective project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of field experience in the commercial construction industry.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completions.

Duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.

Description of Tasks

Position Requirements

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, walk, and work at heights for extended periods of time.
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
• Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools and equipment.
• Vision – ability to see details at close range and details at a distance (naturally orwith correction) and distinguish colors.

Environmental Conditions

• May work outside and exposed to weather.
• Wear protective or safety equipment, i.e., safety boots/shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats.
• Work in dusty or dirty surroundings.
• May be exposed to high levels of noise, grease, dust, and a variety of substances that are typically associated with a construction site.
