Join Olsson’s Federal Engineering and Design Team as a Project Structural Engineer, where you’ll contribute to high-impact federal projects including military installations, VA facilities, and other government infrastructure. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering structural solutions that meet rigorous federal standards and improve communities nationwide.



Responsibilities


  • Lead structural design efforts for federal projects, including DoD and VA facilities.

  • Perform engineering analysis and develop construction documents for vertical infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems with architectural, mechanical, and electrical components.

  • Ensure compliance with UFC, IBC, and other federal design standards.

  • Support proposal development and participate in federal RFP responses.

  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.

  • PE or SE license required.

  • 6+ years of experience in structural design, preferably with federal clients.

  • Familiarity with Autodesk Revit and structural analysis software.

  • Experience with DoD or VA design standards and processes.

  • Strong communication and project management skills.
