Labcorp is seeking a Project Specialist to join our Clinical Studies Point of Care team in Burlington, NC. This role focuses on organizing, planning, and tracking clinical study activities to ensure timely execution and accurate data handling.

You will coordinate with departments, support documentation and templates, and assist with reporting. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma and several years in a clinical diagnostic lab, with project coordination experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory setting.

Labcorp is seeking a Project Specialist to join our Clinical Studies Point of Care team located Burlington, NC!

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and track clinical study activities and execution, including scheduling meetings, capturing notes & action items, and updating project plan details and calendars.
• Coordinate with other departments and areas to complete tasks needed to execute clinical studies
• Coordinate with study staff to document and accurately review study data on an ongoing basis
• Assist with drafting and refining labeling including instructions, based on user feedback and behavior; instructions could be in written and/or video format
• Support various departments as assigned with creating and implementing templates (ex: Microsoft office templates).
• Support other project administrative activities, including processing project-related requests, and assisting with reporting and organizational initiatives to ensure efficient project execution
• Support Toxicology division leaders with administrative support as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years or more of relevant experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory setting

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience assisting with FDA clinical studies, including CLIA waved studies
• 1 year or more of project management experience

Additional Job Standards

• Experience with laboratory information systems and laboratory processes highly desired.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.
