Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Project Specialist for a full-time, long-term contract role with a 4-day work week schedule. This on-site position supports project document management, schedules, cost estimates, and status reporting within a nuclear-focused environment.

You will coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, maintain PM plans, and assist in risk management and cost activities. Local candidates only; no relocation provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field; or 2–5 years in project management or nuclear experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with PMI-PMBOK and INPO 09-002 is a plus.
• Must pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen, and employment testing.
• Local to the area; no relocation or per diem offered.

About the role:

The Project Specialist is a full-time, long-term contract role. It offers a core schedule of a 4-day work week, 3 day weekend. It will report to our client's supervisor and is onsite.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Manage Project Document Library
• Maintain Project Management Plans
• Organize and analyze Project Data
• Update Project Status Reports
• Communicate with Vendors, team members and stakeholders
• Assist in managing Risk and Operating Experience
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field or vocational school such as electronics. Without a degree, must have 2-5 years’ experience in project management processes or nuclear experience.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Knowledgeable of client’s project management processes including knowledge of the PMI-PMBOK and INPO 09-002 Excellence in Nuclear Project Management, preferred
• Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana as well as CBD oil), and employment testing.
• Local to the area, no relocation or per diem offered
