• Define research goals with the PI and design and conduct studies of cell-material interactions.
• Develop and optimize biomaterial formulations and cell-processing workflows.
• Culture mammalian cells and develop quantitative assays of viability, activity, and function; interpret results and plan follow-up experiments.
• Supervise students or technicians in methods development and analysis; ensure reproducibility across experiments.
