Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer to contribute to EPA START program projects in the New England region.

The role offers leadership opportunities and hands-on field experience across hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, and emergency response preparations. The position requires strong scientific background and experience, with travel primarily across New England.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience and a B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering or other scientific discipline is required.
• 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper training.
• Direct on-scene experience with hazardous substances, and oil releases and spills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Solid organization skills, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and anticipate team needs.

The selected candidate will be provided with a wide range of leadership opportunities and field experience to broaden their professional skills while working on unique assignments for our strategic Client. Our multidisciplinary team participates in a variety of projects under the EPA Removal and pre-Remedial programs, including hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, preparedness and prevention planning, emergency response to chemical and oil spills, and other technical assignments.

Travel is required mainly throughout New England.
