Job summary

Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduler to plan, coordinate, and monitor CPM schedules for large-scale heavy civil projects from Burnsville, MN, with extended site stays across the region.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to keep schedules accurate and deliveries on time. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of CPM scheduling experience in heavy civil construction, with Primavera P6, Excel, Word, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or related field.
3–5 years minimum of related experience in heavy civil CPM scheduling.
Experience with heavy civil self-performing construction on California projects and field knowledge of earthwork, concrete structures, foundations, and utilities.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and preconstruction managers in the development of CPM schedules for projects, pre-bid evaluations, and preconstruction services.
Develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling filing system.
Coordinate and monitor project timelines and deadlines for CPM schedules and schedule reports.
Update schedules to reflect changes and potential delays; assist in time impact analysis.
Prepare monthly project schedule narratives describing progress and impacts.
