Job description

Overview

DPR is currently looking for a Project Scheduler who can make an impact on our Planning Scheduling & Production Planning (PSPP) Team in the San Francisco Bay Area. Planning & Scheduling will be commercial projects within our core markets: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education and Corporate Office.

Responsibilities
  • Creating new schedules
  • Updating schedules
  • Troubleshooting
  • Resource loading and/or crew logic, cost loading, variance reports, etc
  • Expert in CPM scheduling theory, level of detail, and execution
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6
  • Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with DPR project team, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders to gather input for sequencing and durations related to project milestones
  • Develop contract (baseline) schedule and maintain monthly contract schedule updates in close coordination with superintendents and project team
  • Lead planning and scheduling efforts
  • Collaborate with the project team to produce accurate schedule updates
  • Coordinate with and include subcontractor schedules
  • Create variance reports, graphics, and narratives to address potential issues or conflicts
  • Analyze acceleration options (multiple shifts, Weekday OT, Weekend OT) to recommend cost-effective options and assess risks
  • Train other team members in planning & scheduling best practices
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scheduler, preferably within DPR’s Core Market projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent field experience
  • A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • A flexible, detail-oriented team player who can manage multiple tasks, work with diverse personalities & work styles, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Software skills necessary include Acumen Fuse and ACC Build
Compensation

Anticipated Starting Pay Range: $126,000.00 - $160,000.00
