Project Scheduler

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Scheduler. In this role, you will assist in developing and managing schedules to ensure that construction projects are completed on time. You will work closely with project teams to track progress, update actual work in place, and communicate any potential delays or issues. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for construction and a desire to grow their career in project management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in Schedule Creation: Support the development of project schedules by inputting data into scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6) under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Track Project Progress: Monitor the progress of construction projects and update schedules based on project milestones, deliverables, and changes.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gather necessary information on field conditions and ensure tasks are properly assigned.
  • Schedule Updates: Help revise and update project schedules to reflect changes in timelines or project scope.
  • Assist in Reporting: Help prepare basic reports on project schedule status, highlighting any delays, issues, or changes that could impact project delivery.
  • Support Change Management: Assist in identifying and documenting schedule changes and help implement adjustments as necessary.
  • Learn Industry Standards: Gain a solid understanding of construction processes and project scheduling best practices while working with more experienced team members.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or relevant field experience.
  • Three to five years' experience managing construction schedule preferred. Any experience in construction or project management is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the construction industry.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with project management or scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera P6) is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of construction terminology or processes.
Working Conditions

  • Opportunity for training and professional development.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet project demands.
