Ames Construction is seeking a Project Scheduler based in Nebraska to play a critical role in planning and coordinating project schedules. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure timely delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include developing CPM schedules, maintaining accurate records, and providing technical support. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Office environment with required travel to project sites is necessary.

As a Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to maintain accurate schedules and provide actionable insights. This position will be based out of our Burnsville, MN, but will be required to have extended stays at project sites throughout the region.
This position will be required to work out of the Central Office – remote work options are not available. Travel and extended stays on project sites are required. The first project site will be in Nebraska.
Office Environment – extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5‑20 pounds occasionally.
Travel – ability to travel to projects as necessary to facilitate interaction and coordination of project schedules.
