Job summary

Kokosing located onsite in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Project Scheduler to support the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. You will create baseline schedules, maintain the master CPM schedule, and integrate subcontractor look-ahead schedules while coordinating with the project team, owners, and design engineers.

Required 2+ years in project scheduling, proficiency in Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud, and strong written and verbal communication to ensure on-time project delivery and

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred or experience in lieu.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Scheduling, preferably in heavy civil and heavy industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience developing project schedules and performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis is preferred.
• Ability to work in concert with project team, subcontractors, engineers, and customer.

Responsibilities

• Create baseline schedules for newly awarded contract scopes and maintain the working schedule.
• Ensure schedule updates and reports conform to contract specifications and are prepared for submittal.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive schedule narrative with each formal update.
• Prepare all project progress reports, integrating subcontractor look ahead schedules into the master schedule.
• Review contractor schedules for accuracy and logic, analyze critical path updates, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Report schedule status to all stakeholders on a weekly / monthly basis.
• Facilitate monthly schedule reviews with the Owner.
• Assist in maintaining, updating and monitoring the CPM schedule.
• Maintain project schedules and alert the project team to potential problem areas.
• Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA).

Summary

Job Description

• This role will be located onsite at the construction project site in the Cincinnati, OH area supporting the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project.
• Collects and analyzes information used to plan and schedule construction projects, specifically, the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project a major infrastructure initiative spanning the Ohio/Kentucky border on the I-71/75 corridor. (Projected multi-year project)
• Generates forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage project construction schedules.
• Integrate best practices and project deliverables while interfacing with the Project Team, Project Managers, Subcontractors, Design Engineers to monitor and update the project schedule and resources.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible to create baseline schedules for newly awarded contract scopes and maintain the working schedule.
• Responsible to ensure that the project schedule updates and reports conform to the contract specifications and are prepared for formal submittal to the Owner.
• Responsible to create and maintain a comprehensive schedule narrative with each formal update.
• Responsible for preparing all the project progress reports, integrating subcontractor look ahead schedules into the master schedule, revising logic sequence as required.
• Reviewing contractor project schedules for accuracy and logic and analyzing critical path updates, schedule progress vs what is occurring in the field, and evaluating schedule options – then communicating schedule status to the Project Manager, client, consultants, and others.
• Reporting schedule status to all stakeholders on a weekly / monthly basis.
• Facilitate monthly schedule reviews with the Owner.
• Assist the Project Team in maintaining, updating and monitoring the CPM schedule.
• Maintaining project schedule(s) and alerting the project team to potential problem areas.
• Performing Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
• Various reports could include:
  • Progress charts
  • Work intensity curves
  • Labor-production work rate tables
  • Time impact analyses
  • Equipment delivery schedules
  • Resource-cost loaded schedules
  • Daily construction activities report schedules
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
• Ideal candidates will possess 2+ years of experience in Project Scheduling, preferably in heavy civil and heavy industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
