You will lead the Project Safety Program, train teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards across multiple sites. This role emphasizes strong communication and proactive risk management.

Located in a travel-ready role with baseline site requirements; base salary is tailored by experience and project scope, with discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a construction safety supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of civil construction safety.
• OSHA 500 or equivalent preferred.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
• Board Certified Safety Professional certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Positive attitude with motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Instill safety as a top priority by monitoring and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Implement and oversee the Project Safety Program including policies and procedures.
• Conduct training, including new hire orientation and safety meetings.
• Monitor all heavy construction work for compliance with safety requirements.
• Monitor and adhere to budgetary guidelines and cost controls.
• Collaborate with regional safety team and communicate with client and subcontractors.
• Assist Project Manager with project setups.
• Investigate incidents and analyze safety statistics.
• Empower stop-work authority to address unsafe practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
