IndZita Biotech Pvt. Ltd., a startup incubated at BRIC-RGCB, seeks a Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) to work on an AI-Integrated Nanopore Sensing System for non-invasive early detection of cervical cancer at IndZita Biotech Pvt. Ltd.

(BRIC-RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The role targets individuals with B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, plusDesirable qualifications in micro-pump driver circuits, nano-amp sensing, CAD modelling, and multi-layer PCB testing.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in designing driver circuits for micro-pumps, valves and actuators.
• Exposure to biosensor measurements and basic PCB testing.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates (Indian Citizens) for one position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) to work in the ICMR/MAHA MedTech -funded projecttitled “An AI-Integrated Ultrasensitive Nanopore Sensing System for Non-invasive Early Detection of Cervical Cancer" at IndZita Biotech Pvt. Ltd. (Startup incubated at BRIC-RGCB) at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

EssentialQualifications

• B. Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in designing driver circuits for micro-pumps, solenoid valves, and piezoelectric actuators to precisely control fluid flow.
• Amperometry measurements and sensing at nano-amp range for biosensors.
• CAD Modelling and 3D printing experience is an added bonus
• Design, lay out, and test multi-layer low-noise PCBs. Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, KiCAD, or Eagle) and hardware testing equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)

Age

Below 35 years on 21 th October 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.

Emolument

Duration

Initially for a period of one year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and extendable based on the performance evaluation.

Selection Process

• Applications should be submitted online.

• Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate toany future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As withall project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminuswith end of the project.
