Zalk Josephs Fabricators LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a qualified Project Manager to lead structural steel projects from planning through delivery. You will oversee schedules, budgets, safety and quality while coordinating with customers, vendors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management and demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills to deliver total steel solutions on time.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and organize information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries and productivity.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains customer relationships to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Oversees planning and implementation of structural steel projects.
• Responsible for managing project productivity, schedule, costs, quality and safety.
• Assists in managing assigned projects with local teams to deliver total steel solutions.
• Reads steel shop drawings and structural drawings.
• Monitors safety and quality on the project.
• Assists with development and coordination of material and fabrication schedules and promotes efficient use.
• Manages and coordinates all subcontractor and vendor contracts and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.


• Assists with overseeing and coordinating the planning and implementation of structural steel projects.


• Responsible for managing the project productivity, schedule, costs, quality and safety consistent with company policies and practices.


• Assists in managing assigned projects including working with local team to develop processes for delivering total steel solutions.


• Reads steel shop drawings and structural drawings.


• Monitors the overall safety and quality issues on the project.


• Assists with the development and coordination of material and fabrication schedules and promotes their efficient use.


• Manages and coordinates all subcontractor and vendor contracts and associated processes and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and professional project management experience.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.


• Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries and job productivities.


• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced developing and delivering sales presentations and negotiating contracts in the construction industry are a plus.
