Job summary

DashDevs seeks a Strong Middle Project Manager to join our software development team. You will independently manage end-to-end delivery, lead client engagements, and serve as the bridge between client expectations and internal execution.

In Fintech projects, you will coordinate across distributed teams, ensure security and compliance, and drive value delivery. You will typically manage 2–3 projects simultaneously, reporting to the Delivery Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial PM experience in Fintech software development projects.
• Strong knowledge of every phase of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to set up processes and guide the team.
• Prioritize and control deadlines with accurate scope management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintain proactive communication, align expectations, manage challenging situations, and build long-term relationships.
• Identify, assess, and document scope changes; prepare Change Requests, coordinate client approvals, and negotiate billing or timeline adjustments.
• Track project financials, forecast and control budgets, monitor profitability and margins.
• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate across engineering, QA, BA, product and other stakeholders; improve delivery processes.
• Plan and coordinate releases while managing dependencies, scope, risks, and timelines.
• Coordinate onboarding and resource planning with Team Leads and HR.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and client communication.

Position overview

We are looking for a Strong Middle Project Manager to join our software development team. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage end-to-end delivery, work with distributed cross-functional teams, and serve as the key link between client expectations and internal execution. You will lead client engagements, ensure operational alignment, and support both financial health and long-term relationship growth. Most of the projects you will manage will be in the FinTech domain, requiring high attention to detail, security, and compliance standards.

Example of the projects New projects are coming, so we are looking for a PM to join several of them. These can include discovery phases, outsourced FinTech projects built from scratch, or solutions based on our DashDevs product — FintechCore, a configurable white-label FinTech platform. Depending on project size and complexity, you will typically manage 2–3 projects simultaneously. As a PM, you will work closely with the Delivery Manager, who will support you in aligning project delivery with strategic project and company goals.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• A 3+ years of commercial experience as a Project Manager in Fintech software development projects
• Strong knowledge of every phase of the software development lifecycle
• Ability to set up the processes and guide the team
• Ability to prioritize and control the deadlines

• Lean development focus
• Confident communication skills that help to build relationships with both clients and teams

• Project Management & Delivery: Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Stakeholder & Client Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintain proactive communication, align expectations, manage challenging situations, and build long-term relationships.
• Change & Scope Management: Identify, assess, and document scope changes; prepare Change Requests, coordinate client approvals, and negotiate billing, timeline adjustments, or scope reprioritization when necessary.
• Financial & Margin Management: Track project financials, forecast and control budgets, monitor project profitability and margins, and ensure delivery remains aligned with commercial agreements.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks early, assess their potential impact, and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
• Integration & Process Management: Ensure smooth coordination across engineering, QA, BA, product, and other project stakeholders; establish and improve delivery processes.
• Release Management: Plan and coordinate releases while ensuring dependencies, scope, risks, and timelines are properly managed.
• Team Collaboration & Resource Planning: Work with Team Leads and HR to coordinate onboarding, resource allocation, capacity planning, and overall team well-being.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, project transparency, and client communication.
