Job summary

HanwhaQcellsUSA Corp is seeking a Project Manager for Utility Scale Construction to lead multi-phase solar and energy storage EPC projects across the United States. This home-based role supports an evergreen project pipeline, with travel up to 50% based on project needs and standard weekday hours.

Qualified candidates will have prior utility-scale solar construction experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years managing large construction programs.

Qualifications

• Prior utility scale solar experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing medium-to-large construction projects, including utility scale solar.
• Experience utilizing PM tools and managing critical path, documentation and deliverables.
• Able to read, analyze and understand design documents, blueprints, and MS Project schedules along with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for all stages of million dollar+ construction projects.
• Develop, manage and maintain project schedules and budgets throughout project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress, reporting, and key performance metrics.
• Cost reporting – prepare reports on current status to show estimated costs, revenues, and timelines.
• Maintain scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers in accordance with on time, on budget approach.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues as needed.

We are actively building a pipeline of qualified Project Managers to support upcoming work. This is an evergreen opportunity supporting upcoming solar and BESS EPC projects across the U.S. Project Managers oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Prior utility scale solar construction experience is required. This is not tied to a single active opening, and candidates will be considered as project needs arise. This is a home-based position with travel up to 50% based on project needs, with standard working hours Monday through Friday. Essential Job Function & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Prior utility scale solar experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience managing the performance of medium-to-large construction projects, including direct experience managing utility scale solar construction projects.
• ExperienceutilizingPM tools, organization and management of critical path and compliance documentation, and other deliverables.
• Able to read, analyze and understand design documents, blueprints, and Microsoft Project Schedules as well as Word,Exceland Outlook.
