Our team delivers a wide range of professional services across five major markets: architecture, land development, water resources, transportation, and energy.

We are seeking a Transportation Project Manager, focusing on bridge design, to join our Canton, OH office. In this role, you will drive profitability, manage various projects, and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals. Responsibilities
  1. Develop statements of qualifications and fee proposals for project pursuits.
  2. Oversee and monitor design, plan development, and QA/QC reviews of bridge projects.
  3. Schedule project tasks and personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Identify potential schedule, financial, or technical issues proactively.
  5. Prepare detailed project quantity calculations and cost estimates as needed.
  6. Maintain relationships with clients, subconsultants, and public agencies.
  7. Coordinate with construction inspection personnel to ensure work aligns with design intent.
  8. Mentor junior staff members.
  9. Travel periodically as required.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  2. Minimum of 15 years’ experience.
  3. Licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio or ability to obtain licensure within six months. A West Virginia PE license is a plus.
  4. Knowledge of civil engineering design practices and ODOT project development process.
  5. Experience with ODOT Programmatic process and successful project completion.
  6. Familiarity with AASHTO, ODOT standards, CAD, roadway, and right-of-way deliverables.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  8. Strong communication skills.
  9. Leadership and time management skills to keep projects on track.
  10. Effective at conducting client and public meetings.
