Job summary

Traffic Control Devices, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead the project and construction team in ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects. You will manage crews, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure project progression within budget and schedule.

The role requires a two-year degree in construction management or engineering and at least five years of supervisory experience; familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or related area or equivalent experience.
  • Industry experience is a must with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervision role or higher.
  • Driver's License preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, project superintendents, foreman, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline of the projects.
  • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
  • Create schedules for project staff and subcontractors.
  • Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
  • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
  • Collect data and develop as-builts for projects.
  • Oversee safety operation of working crews.
  • Produce monthly billings and quantity tracking.
  • Access and implement safe work practices
  • Maintains a safe, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards and procedures set forth by Traffic Control Devices
  • Represent Traffic Control Devices at meetings with project stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to read and interpret FDOT design construction, standards, drawings and specifications for ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects.
  • Be familiar with all operations of construction with installation, testing, integration, full operation and acceptance of the project(s).
  • Possess and maintain a valid DL with an active medical card.
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft suite products and Adobe PDF exchange.
Education & Experience
  • Two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or other related area or equivalent experience.
  • Business experience preferred.
  • Industry experience is a must with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervision role or higher.
Pre-Screen
  • Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications
  • Driver's License preferred, but not required.
