Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in St. Paul, MN is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead residential and commercial restoration projects from initial estimate to completion. The role blends relationship-building, sales, and hands-on project oversight to help communities recover from disasters.

You will collaborate with a Construction Superintendent, manage contractors, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget while upholding our high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing restoration/construction projects.
• Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software.
• Background in disaster mitigation/restoration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage estimates for restoration projects (fire, water, mold, storm, etc.) using Xactimate.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution alongside a Superintendent.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are met on all job sites.
• Support marketing and relationship-building initiatives to grow accounts.
• Attend client meetings and represent ServiceMaster DSI professionally.
• Monitor financial performance and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and contribute to team development.

About the Role:

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience in restoration and/or construction project management
• Proficiency with Xactimate (estimating software)
• Background in disaster mitigation/restoration highly preferred
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
