The position is based in New York, NY, with a rate of $45/hr for 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of project management experience; ability to track timelines and deliverables.
• Experience within healthcare systems or community settings preferred.
• Strong customer service and inter-personal skills.
• Attention to detail and accessibility improvement suggestions.
• Interest in aging and building relationships with older adults.
• Knowledge of ADA/WCAG is a plus but not required.

Role Overview

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) is seeking a Project Manager, Social Prescribing is responsible for supporting the implementation a social prescribing pilot project, focused on connecting older adults to arts experiences to document health and wellbeing outcomes. This position requires the ability to track timelines and deliverables and communicate clearly with teams and audiences working on different aspects of the project. The first of its kind at Lincoln Center, this project will include a combination of direct support of participants and administration of this complex project with many collaborators in healthcare, research and resident arts organizations.

What you’ll get to do here

Administrative responsibilities include:

• Implement and manage registration system, tracking ticketing, attendance and surveys
• Collaborate with healthcare sites to action referrals, track attendance and report updates
• Contribute to and disseminate marketing materials
• Coordinate purchase and payment for tickets, teaching artists, room reservations and supplies

Programming and Audience-facing responsibilities include:

• Act as “link worker,” directly supporting older adults in registration, planning for attendance and giving feedback on arts experiences.
• Support on-site events, with a focus on creative aging
• Co-create and manage programmatic offerings across resident arts organizations
• Plan and support facilitation of focus groups with older adults
• Assist guests upon arrival, distributing accommodations and supporting seating
• Represent Lincoln Center at community events and conducting outreach to expand audiences

Research responsibilities include:

• Support formal research project by administering and collecting surveys, tracking and following up on missing data and compiling for analysis.
• Document results of pilot and make recommendations for planning future expansion
• Research and connect with social prescribing projects nationally and internationally
• Collect guest feedback, including but not limited to focus groups, surveys and anecdotes

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with guests, teaching artists, healthcare partners and arts colleagues
• 1-2 years of project management experience, with demonstrated ability to track both detailed timelines and big picture goals simultaneously
• Familiarization working within healthcare systems and community settings, ideally with arts programming, strongly preferred
• Strong customer service and inter-personal skills
• Attention to detail, with ability to identify gaps in accessibility and make suggestions for future improvements
• Passion for connecting individuals to arts experiences
• Interest and skill in building relationships, particularly with older adults, highly valued.
• Interest in building experience or direct experience in creative aging strongly preferred.
• Professional and/or lived experience with disability strongly desired
• Working knowledge of ADA compliance and WCAG standards a plus, but not required
