Stonefield Engineering & Design, a full-service engineering and consulting firm in Tampa, seeks a results-driven Project Manager for our Site/Civil team. This role offers growth, mentorship, and exposure to private development, universities, and public agencies.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and a minimum of four years of site and grading experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D and HydroCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum 4 years of site and grading design experience; zoning and site plan permitting.

Responsibilities

• Teach and train entry-level to mid-level designers.
• Design site layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, landscaping, lighting.
• Manage soil erosion and sediment control measures.
• Manage projects, zoning and land development permitting.
• Perform field inspections and hydraulic/hydrologic design analyses.
• Draft site plans and prepare environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare project reports.

Stonefield Engineering and Design is currently recruiting a Project Manager to join the Site/Civil Engineering Team. This is a dynamic position that will offer the opportunity for diverse interaction and rapid growth. The right candidate will bring a strong technical background, interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and a desire for continued growth and learning. As Stonefield is a multi-disciplinary firm, interest in cross disciplinary work within the field of Civil Engineering is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

Job responsibilities will include teaching and training entry-level to mid-level designers and analyst, design of site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, landscaping, lighting, and soil erosion and sediment control measures. The position will also include project management responsibilities, zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, hydraulic and hydrologic design and analysis, site plan drafting, environmental impact assessment, and preparation of project reports.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• Must be a licensed PE
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with site and grading design, zoning and site plan permitting process
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to work effectively on a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and/or technical writing are a plus
