Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Idaho is hiring an Electrical Engineering Project Manager to oversee full life-cycle management of large multi-discipline projects from proposal to commissioning and close-out.

You will track, stabilize, and guide projects, lead customer training on SEL automation and protection systems, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborate across engineering, sales, and service teams. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is required.
• Project management experience/training related to engineering construction and electrical systems or a PMP Certification.
• Relevant application experience with electric power systems, power system protection and control, integration, and/or automation and communications applications.
• Willing to travel regionally a maximum of 25%.

• Assist in the identification, preparation and presentation of successful proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems.
• Provide support for other SEL marketing, sales, application engineering and development activities.

Pay Range Data - $110,000 – $150,000

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Engineer level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
