Job summary

Nava is seeking a dedicated delivery/PM to support a mid‑large scale government product. You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers, and government partners to triage issues, distill them into actionable tickets, and improve incident response and system support.

You’ll build strong relationships with Nava teammates, client stakeholders, and vendors while aligning project priorities with team capabilities and the broader mission of delivering reliable digital services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary connection between government stakeholders and the Nava team, managing agile ceremonies, estimating effort and capacity, triaging production incidents, setting delivery expectations, tracking and communicating progress, and removing blockers as they arise
• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with Nava teammates, government stakeholders, contractors, and cross-functional partners
• Develop a strong understanding of the team’s objectives, systems, and capabilities to inform project priorities and help resolve issues effectively
• Coordinate across multiple scrum teams to drive alignment across complex ecosystems and support successful outcomes
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely reporting on risks, progress, successes, challenges, and outcomes
• Monitor team velocity and sprint commitment reliability, and continuously improve the team’s processes for planning, organizing, and delivering work

Position summary

You’ll manage the support of a mid-large scale product, working closely with our engineers, designers and government partners to triage issues and distill them into clear, actionable tickets for the team. You'll be available to tackle Priority one issues as they arise. You'll also work with the team to continually improve on our response and support of the system and build close working relationships with a variety of people, including engineers, client stakeholders, and partner vendors. You think holistically and understand how the details of the project fit into the bigger picture, and take pride in working through highly ambiguous situations to deliver value to users. You have a strong bias towards action when faced with incomplete information, and communicate transparently to build consensus internally and externally.
