Job summary

Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to support a U.S. Navy program in the Norfolk, VA area.

The role oversees data migration, data integration, and analytics initiatives across Agile and Waterfall environments while coordinating planning, budgeting, and risk management. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in project management or scrum, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and an active DoD SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management and/or scrum management.
• Expertise with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including facilitating ceremonies and managing hybrid environments.
• Strong project planning, risk management, schedule management, and budget oversight capabilities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated servant leadership and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and oversight of complex data-focused projects (data migration, data integration, data analytics).
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and deliverables; manage project budgets and track performance.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and aligned with mission requirements.
• Facilitate Agile and Waterfall processes, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and structured milestones.
• Remove impediments and support team self-organization to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Coach teams on Agile/Waterfall principles, best practices, and process adherence.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and dependencies.

Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to support a U.S. Navy program in the Norfolk, VA area. This role provides direct oversight of data-related projects including data migration, data integration, and analytics initiatives-and ensures execution excellence across Agile and Waterfall development environments. The Project Manager/Scrum Master will coordinate project planning, budgeting, team facilitation, and risk management, serving as a critical leader for cross-functional Navy-focused data teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Salary: $90k+ to align with education and experience.
