Job summary

HGA is seeking a seasoned Project Manager - S+T for our Boston, MA office. You will independently lead multiple projects from concept to completion, overseeing budgets, schedules, staffing, and design quality while ensuring code compliance.

Collaborating with Principals and Practice Group Leaders, you will drive client satisfaction, present findings, and translate goals into actionable strategies. You will mentor teams and coordinate consultants to deliver integrated projects across disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience with at least 3 years in a project management role.
  • Architectural licensure preferred or in progress.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Overview:

Project Manager - S+T

Location: Boston, MA

Join HGA's Science + Technology teamas an architectural Project Manager in our Boston, MA office.

As an experienced professional, it is expected you will have a minimum of ten (10) years of architectural and project management experience, responsible for independently leading multiple small to mid-sizeprojects from concept through completion. This role oversees all aspects of project delivery—including planning, budgeting, scheduling, team coordination, and client communication—while ensuring that design excellence is achieved within scope, timeline, and budget.

Working in close partnership with Principals and Practice Group Leaders, the role provides strategic direction to project teams, manages workflows and resources, andmaintainsaccountability for project documentation and administrative processes. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, meet client expectations, and contribute positively to the firm’s goals.

In this role you will:

Project Leadership

What you will need to have:

  • Professional degree in Architectureor related fieldfroman accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
  • Architectural licensure preferred or in progress.
  • Proficiencyin Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of building codes, construction methods, and project delivery.

Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $106,900 - $124,300 depending on qualifications and experience.
