Kokosing Construction is seeking a Project Manager for Roadway/Bridge projects in the Baltimore/Washington DC metro area. The role plans, directs, and coordinates highway/bridge construction activities to meet time and budget goals.

Responsibilities include overseeing project engineers, superintendents and foremen, developing work plans, and coordinating with agencies and subcontractors, with CPM-based scheduling proficiency required.

• 10+ years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding, procedures, staffing and resources.
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project; arrange recruitment or assignment of personnel.
• Consult with project staff to outline work plan, assign duties and authority.
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Review status reports and modify schedules/plans as needed.
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
• Consult with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Coordinate project activities with governmental agencies and subcontractors.
• Understand and analyze CPM-based project schedules.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
