Job summary

Audio Enhancement Inc. in Kansas City, MO, seeks a full-time Project Manager to coordinate on-site installations, QC, training, and contractor management for educational AV systems. • On-site project management experience; low voltage/electrical contracting a plus.
• Experience with project management processes and methodologies.
• Experience managing a team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with A/V and Networking systems.
• Strong customer service skills and client-facing experience.
• Any IT schooling or certifications are a plus.
• Excellent organization and reporting capabilities are essential.
• Willingness to work long hours, swing shifts during the school year, and travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders to determine project timelines and build schedules around completion deadlines.
• Perform site walk-throughs, attend project calls and meetings onsite, and conduct onsite QC checks.
• Schedule key milestones with internal and external resources, including installation and commissioning.
• Ensure installation and commissioning processes are completed properly.
• Communicate project progress with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design technicians, permitting, installs, and contractors through project completion.
• Create project closeout documents including as-built drawings, O&M, and warranty packets.

We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager in the Kansas City, Missouri region!

This person will need to be able to commission installed products, QC installations, train how to use system, and manage contractors and construction companies installing equipment. Needs to have excellent customer service as this position will be meeting with project managers from other companies and upper staff within school districts. They will need to be able to walk sites, quote projects, and manage projects from beginning to completion.

Duties Include

• Work with key stakeholders to determine project timelines and build schedules around completion deadlines.

Requirements

• Any schooling in IT is preferred.
• Organization and great reporting are a must.
• Willing to work long hours and swing shifts during the school year.
• Willing to overnight travel - about 75%.
