Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager in the NAM Transformer Business Unit to deliver high-visibility projects across multiple factories. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification preferred; ability to obtain Hitachi Energy PM certification within 2 years.
• Experience coordinating remote, multi-location teams.
• Proven success managing scope, cost, schedules, quality, and vendors.
• Authorization to work in the United States (no relocation or sponsorship).

As a Project Manager in our Transformer Business Unit, you will play a central role in delivering complex, high‑visibility projects that support the North American energy landscape.

Reporting to the Director, Program Management Office—HUB North America, you will lead multiple, interrelated projects within the NAM Power Transformers Group. These projects are delivered in close partnership with a key strategic customer and executed across several Hitachi Energy factories, giving you exposure to a broad manufacturing network and diverse stakeholders.

In this role, you will turn strategy into action—bringing structure to complexity, aligning teams around common goals, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, service, and legal teams, while acting as a trusted point of contact for customers.
