Job summary

Kiewit seeks a Project Manager to oversee construction sites, coordinating administrative and technical aspects of large EPC projects. You will help manage schedules, budgets and safety across TIC Power initiatives and related sites.

Expect travel and relocation to project locations as needed; 5+ years in commercial construction; a related bachelor's degree is required; strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record.
  • Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management or related field.
  • Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and read engineering drawings.

  • Oversee job site management and supervise administrative and technical aspects of construction projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and safety compliance.
  • Relocate or travel to project sites as needed and manage multiple projects concurrently.

District Overview

TIC Power (TICP) is a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation that provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a non-union craft force. Strength in estimating and pre-project planning. Constructing cogeneration, combined-cycle, geothermal and waste-to-energy generation and resource facilities. TIC Power builds major EPC power plant projects throughout North America.

Qualifications
  • Ability to travel and relocate as needed
  • 5+ years' experience in all aspects of managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
  • Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management or a related degree or comparable work experience.
  • Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization/time management skills
