A global engineering leader is seeking a Project Manager for transportation infrastructure projects in Florida. Your Opportunity

We offer a leadership opportunity in Stantec for a Project Manager, PD&E. You will work closely with Stantec’s leadership on the planning and development of transportation infrastructure, including major arterials and complex limited access highways and transit agencies throughout Florida. The role will provide supervision and guidance to a group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals for accuracy and completeness, and maintaining schedules. Locations are flexible throughout Florida, including Orlando, Lake Mary, Coral Gables, or Jacksonville.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and developing technical discipline teams and performing as a project manager or task leader on transportation planning and PD&E projects.
  • Client development, coordinating the project pursuits and proposal preparation.
  • Performing as a senior technical lead in the development of concepts, reports, and studies.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships that allow us to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and grow our people through work on exciting and challenging projects.
  • Develop value‑added solutions to clients' needs and lead the successful pursuit of contracts for engineering and consulting services.
  • Increase the company's profile within the transportation industry through participation with appropriate business and professional organizations.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • 10+ progressive civil engineering highway/roadway transportation planning and/or design experience.
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of roadway infrastructure development including transportation planning and traffic engineering, corridor studies, and Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies.
  • Experience in successful project pursuits including identifying opportunities, client engagement, developing teaming strategies and developing proposals.
  • Thorough understanding of codes, legal, and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to lead a team on multiple assignments.
  • Strong client interaction and relationship skills.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in the State of Florida is preferred.

Pay Transparency

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary

Regular full‑time and part‑time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short‑term/long‑term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full‑time and part‑time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law). Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law. The benefits information listed above may not apply to union positions because benefits for such positions are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
