Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager to own the project delivery function and ensure successful execution that meets contractual, technical, safety and quality requirements while achieving company margins.

You will lead large cross-functional teams across tendering, project execution and closeout, manage risks, keep customers informed with executive updates, and coordinate with internal partners to deliver projects valued over $100K on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in the nuclear sector.
  • Past supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in Industrial or Power & Energy markets.
  • Experience working in a nuclear Quality Program and familiarity with nuclear material supply codes and standards (ASME NQA-1, ASME Sec. III Code, 10 CFR50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21).
  • Experience dealing with complex customer specifications and documentation requirements.
  • Professional background in manufacturing with engineering aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver projects greater than $100K with technical, specification and operational risks.
  • Own end-to-end project lifecycle from tendering through closure and cash collection.
  • Manage project complexity across multiple stakeholders, sites, and global/virtual teams.
  • Own each project including risk management, customer relations, contracts, scheduling, costs, and LD negotiations.
  • Oversee handover, progress reporting, variation orders, OTD, and project closeout.

Job description

Work Schedule/Hours: Normal Business Hours

Join our team as a Nuclear Project Manager, where you will be the owner of the overall project delivery function and be responsible for the outcome of the project execution.

This role will work to successfully deliver Celeros projects in a manner that fulfils contractual and technical requirements, meets or exceeds customer expectations, and adheres to safety and ethical standards, while achieving Celeros target margins and promoting Celeros’ reputation in the marketplace.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads and delivers projects that are >$100K, have technical/specification/operational risks.
  • Plays a critical part in the full project lifecycle -- from participation in tendering activity, including proposals, through to project closure/cash collection.
  • Manages project complexity involving numerous internal and external stakeholders, a degree of technical complexity, occasional multi-site coordination, global and virtual team working, and high levels of functional integration.
  • Ownership of each assigned project, responsible for resolving project problems promptly, and maintaining project quality and adherence to schedule and budget.
  • For each project, key responsibilities include managing project handover and risk management, customer relations, contract management, setting of overall schedule, executing project, managing costs, managing internal business partners, reviewing and reporting progress, variation order management, assuring OTD, collecting cash, project closeout and LD negotiations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to lead a large-scale project team.
  • Ability to report to the executive management team with relevant presentations and project updates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross-functionally. Ability to manage projects through influence diplomatically. Customer-facing experience as well.
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage a larger volume of projects/orders simultaneously.
  • Proven experience of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project & SharePoint.
  • Experience working with an international customer base.
Education and Experience
  • 5 years experience in the nuclear sector.
  • Past supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Experience in the Industrial or Power & Energy markets.
  • Experience working in a nuclear Quality Program and familiarity with nuclear material supply codes and standards, such as ASME NQA-1, ASME Sec. III Code, 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR Part 21 (preferred).

Pay Range

The base pay range for this position is $110,000 – 120,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
