Job summary

Progressive seeks a senior project manager with extensive Petrochemical/midstream/refining experience to lead and oversee design, builds and modifications across pipelines, facilities, and plants. The role requires coordinating internal and third-party resources, controlling costs, and ensuring proper reviews and signoffs.

Applicants should have a track record in tie-ins and brownfield/greenfield projects, with design oversight across multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Ten years in petrochemical, midstream or refining sectors.
• Five years in a project management role.
• Oversight and coordination for designs and builds of pipeline, facility and plant additions/modifications.
• Tie-ins, repairs, brownfield and greenfield project experience.
• Design oversight in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation/Controls, Civil or Metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee designs and builds for pipelines, facilities and plant modifications.
• Coordinate internal and external design resources to meet project goals.
• Manage outside engineering productivity and cost.
• Review and sign off on drawings and design packages.
• Maintain version control and distribution of documents.

Job description

• A minimum of ten years in petrochemical, midstream or refining industry and five years in a project management related role is required
• Experience providing oversight and coordination for designs and builds of pipeline, facility, and plant additions and modifications, support engineering design utilizing internal and 3rd party resources, manages outside engineering productivity and cost, manages version control, distribution, reviews and signoff of drawing and design packages.

Experience with tie-ins, repairs, pumps, brownfield but most greenfield projects

• Design oversight ability in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, Instrumentation/Controls Design, Civil Design, Metallurgy.
