Summary

Our client, a top mechanical contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager for our San Diego, CA location. With nearly a century of customer care and ownership, our client adheres to the highest safety standards and offers industry-leading building information modeling (BIM), design/build services, sustainable solutions, and complex mechanical and industrial system installations. This position will lead mechanical construction projects safely, on time, and within budget across various markets including Healthcare, Life Science, Commercial, and Industrial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This role involves managing safety, field labor productivity, quality assurance, project financials, procurement, change orders, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management. Managers are responsible for directing work activities of their direct reports and must be available during working hours.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years construction experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
