Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, engineer‑to‑order projects from kickoff to delivery and closeout.
  • Serve as primary customer contact and drive schedule, scope, risk, and communication.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics and operations.
  • Manage change requests, milestones, dependencies and production schedules.
  • Lead project reviews and resolve issues to maintain milestones.

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Manufacturing Delivery to lead complex, engineer-to-order projects supporting critical power and infrastructure environments. This role owns customer orders from project kickoff through manufacturing, shipment, closeout, and customer satisfaction. This position is onsite five (5) days per week and offers significant growth potential within a rapidly expanding organization serving mission‑critical infrastructure markets. Summary: We are looking for experience with Modular Solutions, EPODs, SKIDS, etc. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary customer contact while driving schedule, scope, risk management, communication, and cross‑functional execution across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and field support teams. This is a highly visible, customer‑facing position in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Success requires strong leadership, accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and keep projects on track. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with customers, leading project reviews, managing change requests, and driving internal teams toward critical milestones. Experience with customized, engineer‑to‑order products is strongly preferred. Backgrounds supporting switchgear, power distribution equipment, modular systems, skids, e‑houses, critical power infrastructure, industrial equipment, generators, HVAC systems, control panels, or similar engineered products are highly relevant.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of project management experience within manufacturing, industrial, power systems, electrical equipment, construction, or engineered‑to‑order environments
  • Experience with EPODs, SKIDs, Modular Systems
  • Proven experience managing complex customer‑facing projects from order intake through delivery
  • Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and operations
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Experience managing project milestones, dependencies, change orders, customer approvals, and production schedules
  • Strong customer‑facing communication skills with the ability to lead status meetings and resolve project issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, project tracking tools, and ERP systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accountability and attention to detail
Preferred
  • PMP certification
  • Switchgear, power distribution, critical power, data center, modular systems, e‑house, enclosure, or skid‑based project experience
  • Experience with medium‑voltage and/or low‑voltage electrical products
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Epicor ERP experience
  • Engineering, Project Engineer, Product Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Program Engineer background
  • Experience supporting highly customized industrial products and engineer‑to‑order manufacturing environments
Pay

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
