Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing or construction. You will oversee turnkey projects, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with engineering, production, and sales teams to meet customer specifications and delivery commitments.

The role requires reading blueprints, managing subcontractors, and maintaining client relationships while driving cost reductions and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management required; PMI certification preferred.
• At least six years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication processes and oversight of fabrication work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience using an ERP system; Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure products meet customer specifications and delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present project updates, proposals, requirements documents, and progress reports.
• Read and interpret blueprints and contract drawings, applying knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management to estimate costs for non-core opportunities.
