Job summary

Astec, a global infrastructure and manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced project manager to plan, coordinate, and implement manufacturing equipment projects at our Chattanooga, TN facility. You will monitor budgets, timelines, and scope, and present updates to stakeholders and clients.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher and 5+ years of end-to-end project management experience, with strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

LOCATION: This is an onsite position at our Astec-Jerome Avenue facility in Chattanooga, TN

NOTE: This position is not an IT Project Manager role. Projects are focused on manufacturing equipment, automation, capacity and efficiency.

Key Deliverables

• Develop documentation for processes and procedures for projects.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop a detailed project plan
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
